Our guest today is Dr. Brian Crauer, an Associate Clinical Professor of Shelter Medicine and the director of the Shelter Medicine Program at Kansas State University. Dr. Crauer joined the faculty at K-State in 2015 to develop their Shelter Medicine Program. Dr. Crauer has over 20 years’ experience in veterinary medicine education, private practice, emergency, and shelter facilities. We cover a lot of ground today — from Dr. Crauer’s incredible experiences in veterinary medicine to animal welfare to community outreach to the role our pets play in our lives. Let’s get into it!
